First Thursday Artist Reception / Show Runs Sept 1 - 18th

David's Artist Statement:

The question David is exploring in this series is, "How does the "light" outside his studio window play with the pure spectrum of color between land and sky, day and night, fantasy and reality?"

The paintings created in this series, "Impressions of Color", were created by the subconscious mind. The reflections through the studio windows allow David to 'chase the light and color' of the spring and summer hues. David's subconscious impressions captivate an expression of wonder. 

David believes that art should always make one feel something: Something that is unexpected, raw, and natural.
